Square Enix has been hard at work, trying to right the shipwreck that has been known as Final Fantasy XIV. In patch 1.19, the game will introduce to players Ifrit (more information here), and this patch is set to be released on October 5, Japan time. If you’re wondering what Ifrit is about, the company was kind enough to show us a clip of a battle scene.

Set with ominous music, the scene kinda reminds me of the Mines of Moria.

That is one kicka** battle scene right there! Also, RIGHT at the end? Reminds me of Kull the Conquerer. With the demon lady in flames? Yeah nevermind. XD
