In Japan, the PlayStation Vita is scheduled to hit the shelves on December 17th. So what about places outside of Japan?

At the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco, Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) announced that the PlayStation Vita will launch on February 22, 2012 in North America and Europe.

The PS Vita will be released in 2 different versions: Wi-Fi or 3G. In the US the 3G version will have a cap of 20MB (through AT&T) and will be priced at $299, while the WiFi version will be $249.

Will you be buying a PS Vita when it releases?
