It has been revealed that Sony Pictures is currently working on a closing a deal with Ubisoft to turn their video game, Assassin’s Creed into a movie.

After a bidding war with several studios such as Sony and Universal Studios, Sony seems to be the one that was victorious. If the deal closes, Sony will work with Ubisoft Motion Pictures, which was designed to expand the Ubisoft name beyond gaming. Ubisoft Motion Pictures will then work with the production crew on the creative parts for the movie to make sure the movie doesn’t well…suck like every other video game turned movie.
