Sony has definitely had a lot of experience when it comes to launching their original consoles; however it’s been a problem to them at the same time, to provide enough systems to sell to customers. PlayStation Vita, being the next big thing for Sony, one could not avoid having a fear that it might follow the same fate as other consoles.
PlayStation Vita is said to be released in December for Japan and in February worldwide. This time, it seems like Sony made a promise and assured everyone that they’ll certainly meet the demands for this console.
“We’ve increased production materially since E3. We learned our lesson to make sure you have enough product.” said Sony directer, John Koller.
One of which way Sony can meet all the demand is by offering a special bundle in the US, just a week before the full February 22nd launch date. With this attempt, it wil not only allow the gamers to buy the higher priced 3G model, but as well as satiisfy the demands of Vita Fans.
I think it’s really important for Sony to keep its promise this time. It’s already been a problem before that they would always lack systems especially when there are a lot of demands coming from Sony fans. I hope that they’ll be able to meet the demands this time.
