Just how popular do you think Battlefield 3 is? Small, okay, or LARGE? Well, just think to of “10 million”, what is that to you? For me, that is just extremely large! However that’s not it, EA has announced, during a recent financial statement, that they’ve SHIPPED that many copies. That means there were approximately 3 million copies that were pre-ordered!

The statement also mentions that retailers have already re-ordered further copies of the game due to its popularity. By comparison, Bad Company 2 sold about 2.3 million copies during its first month of release, meaning Battlefield 3 has already outsold it during the same time frame based on pre-orders alone.

Congrats to Battlefield 3!
