Things may have seemed pretty good for Activision for the past year if you consider the $148 million they brought in their third quarter and the success of Modern Warfare 3. Despite their accomplishments, they’ve already decreased by at least 6% in their share value. This stems from the drop of subscribers for World of Warcraft.

Neil Doshi and Markhaney, two analysts from Citigroup, have reported that in the last quarter, Acitivision has already lost at least 800,000 of their subscribers. This serves as a big loss for Activision as they’re pretty dependent on their World of Warcraft players. It’s probably not going to get any better either due to the big competition such as Skyrim and Modern Warfare 3.
