After the script of BioWare was leaked and became a hot topic online. The company then announced that there might be a change in the Mass Effect 3 story as there is no need for fans to anticipate the game anymore since they can get the story online.

BioWare co-founder Ray Muzyka stated,

“We listen to them on the forums, their feedback from stories. We’re reading it all. If we can get ideas out of it that will make the game better, sure. We’re not adverse to taking feedback. That’s part of our core values, is humility. Any time we get a good idea from fans… they’re our audience. They keep us in business.”

This could be a big disappointment to those who were looking forward to the game but changes doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s a bad thing.

Muzyka then said,

“What I would suggest to the fans is, we’re going to make sure we deliver an awesome experience as we have in prior Mass Effect games. Don’t spoil the story. The fun of the story is uncovering things and exploring and finding new points to adventure in. I hope they don’t lose that joy of discovery.”

Agreed.

I hate when a lot of the story or game play gets leaked before the game comes out..ruins the fun and surprise of the game...at least for me!

It does stink when a game leaks well in advance ~ don’t know why people have to post it online and ruin the fun for others. I think it’s smart of BioWare to make changes before releasing the game next year.
