Hideo Kojima speaks up about the making of Metal Gear Solid 5. Quite a talk I can say there has been about this topic, but still not enough information for satisfaction, however Kojima-san gives us something to bite on. He says that it was really hard to make MGS where he did most of the work himself; laying out the maps, enemy routes and etc. This time he is thinking of maybe just doing only 1 stage. Kojima also mentions that it’s hard to pass on the works to others, because different people can’t possibly convey others’ visions exactly.

I intended to take it to a certain point and then hand it off, but that didn’t work, because it’s hard to convey the concept to other people then have them take the reins and carry on and preserve that vision… That’s why it’s easier to have them come up with everything from the start and then take it to the end.

To be exact there’s many questions left about it. For example, what happens to Snake? or how much space will it take up? Hopefully we’ll be getting more details soon!

Anyone awaiting it?
