Now that Xbox’s successor will be released sooner or later, more and more speculations are just coming out. The latest rumors include supposed details on an improved Kinect that may be bundled with the system and two radically different models that will be made available.

Eurogamer says that the new an improved version of Kinect is being developed that will have the ability to read lips! That awesome feature would presumably mean it wouldn’t be restricted in the same way as the current Kinect is. Aside from that, it is said that it will be able to detect the direction the player is facing and the player’s emotional state by taking into account facial movements as well as the volume and pitch of his or her voice. Wow, that’s cool.

As far as it goes, there have been some launch dates that are circulating. Some say that it will be announced during the Consumer Electronics Show in January, others E3 2012 and some say that it won’t be out until 2014. Well, let’s just see.

Wow! That sounds incredible! It must really take time to create though since it will be reading lip movement. That sounds amazing though. Hope PS3 comes out with something good in the future! :3
