The recorded sales for the US gaming industry last month was simply record breaking. November already had the record-breaking sale of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which had the biggest launch day sales to date for any games. However, another record is that sales hit $3 billion the past month, as this is the most ever earned in November. Game sales were up 16 percent, but hardware and accessories was down 9 percent and 34 percent respectively. November also saw the sales of Skyrim and Batman: Arkham City.
