Hideo Kojima is the developer of the Metal Slug series and right now he ma be trying something new. He has announced through CNN that he will be working on this new game, currently known as “Project Ogre“.

Kojima told CNN in an interview

The kind of game I’m making is some game that has a very wide entrance, a very open entrance, rather than making something very cinematic, [I plan to] make something very free.”

In this game, Kojima reveals that he would create the game specifically for the players to explore the game’s world freely and to let them find new things so that they’ll never get tired of playing Project Ogre even for 100 hours in he game.

Well, there is no release date for this said game, because they were still planning the total outcome of the game.

I really thing this game would be successful and I really love his idea for the game. What will make this game successful is the ‘exploration’ idea because in this way players will just keep playing and playing for hours and yet there are still adventures to come!
