Robert Bowling, community manager of Infinity Ward, has released a screenshot of one of the new multiplayer maps that will be available to play in the first DLC pack of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 that arrives next month.

Park is the name of the map, and that was a speculated topic a month ago, with maps called Concrete, Italy, Overwatch and Morning Wood also rumoured. Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software are the firms that are developing the DLC.

Xbox Live is to get the DLC on January 24th, but it has been stated by Activision that the release dates on other platforms will not be revealed until the turn of the year. Dan Amrich, Activision social media manager, wrote on his blog “Other platforms and dates were not discussed, but remember that there’s a double-whammy here: Due to a business arrangement from 2010, Xbox 360 gets DLC content ahead of other platforms, and Activision has promised Elite subscribers will get DLC content ahead of the general public”.

Well, it’s okay to wait since Elite users do pay for membership so they should receive theirs first. Hopefully the maps will be good and big. :D
