Square Enix’s upcoming massively multiplayer online game, Wakfu, in partnership with Ankama will be opening January 4, 2012. That’s not all that will be happening in the said date. Also the content update 0.311 will be released. This update provides a new achievement tracking tool and a Srams Shadow to the game. This Shadow is an assassin archetype who possesses invisibility mechanics and to ability to dodged out melee damage.
Two classes namely Ecaflip and the Rogue would be temporarily removed by Ankama but it is done for balance. You can check out there official site now for more details!
Sounds like another exciting MMO brought to us by Square Enix! wish it all the luck when it launches! ![]()

Yay another Square Enix game. Sounds really good.
See my post. Not a Square Enix game. they only do distribution and take care of the servers for North America.

i want to try this game out
I’m sorry if I’m being a bit of a pain here bit there is something I just need to point out.
Wakfu is NOT Square Enix’s game. Wakfu is made by Ankama and is the sequel to their game Dofus and is set 1000 years after the time of Dofus.
Square Enix is their partner and is taking over distribution and the servers for the North American market. For the European and International Market Ankama is taking over that role themselves.
So yeah, I really just wanna point out that Square Enix is the Partner and Ankama is making the game. I don’t like it if the wrong people are given credit. Its nice to see that Square is seeing the potential in Wakfu but please don’t mix up facts.
