It seems that Nintendo is quite having troubles keeping up with their system. To mention a few, their Gamecube lacked a DVD Player while their Wii lacked the download services as compated to Xbox Live and PS3. This time they place all those aside and decided to try something new which they avoided at first - launching their first Downloadable Content (DLC).
RPG Fire Emblem 3DS is the first piece of as Nintendo-branded DLC. The estimated price for this would be ¥500 and that is equivalent to $6.42 USD. The DLC will contain new missions as well as new additions of storyline characters.
Hmm, this sounds really interesting especially that Nintendo is trying something really different, something they even avoided traditionally. I really hope that this will bring success especially that DLC did bring success to Xbox and PS3.
