Micah Whiple, community manager at Blizzard, and more commonly known as Bashiok, claims that retailer listings that implicated Diablo 3 will be released next month are not official, after many listings have been made.
On Twitter, Whiple tweeted, “Retailers will not know a date until it’s officially announced through a press release”. February 1st was set as the release date for the game at both Best Buy and Gameplay and it caused a stir.
Blizzard has not provided an official launch date for the game as of yet, but stay tuned as there may yet be more information.
