It has been confirmed by Sony that Starhawk’s Public Beta is set to start on January 17th for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Late on last year, a strictly private beta also took place, and it ended on January 3rd of this year.
So even though not all will gain access, it will eventually be the case. On January 17th, PlayStation Plus subscribers and closed beta participants will be the first to have the beta available. Two weeks later, it will be open for holders of US Uncharted 3 beta keys.
“Early access” codes from Facebook and GameStop will provide a gateway for access to the beta from January 7th, with an IGN promotion allowing even more people to get the beta on January 14th. All PSN users will eventually have it available a week later.
