EA Games have been known for their extensive gaming line, accommodating for all ages within the market. With that said, in recent news, their popularity has scored them more than the title of being popular, as they have showed off their success with garnering at least 20 million players for Battlefield Heroes and Need for Speed World.

Both games Battlefield Heroes and Need for Speed World, have been estimated to have drawn at least 10 million players each. Whilst other titles including, Battleforge, Lord of Ultima, Battlefield Play4Free and their Facebook title, Dragon Age Legends has attracted 5 million players.

This brings the figures for EA’s Play4Free titles to at least a whopping 25 million players!

Play4Free VP Sean Decker said: “Developing a community of 25 million players is a remarkable achievement. It is a testament to the explosive growth of the free-to-play market and a reflection of EAs commitment to spearheading the digital transformation. We plan to continue to innovate in the category, introduce new gameplay that delights players and keeps them coming back for more. For our teams, this is an incredibly exciting time to be making games as the audience continues to grow and diversify.”
