Recently, we’ve been seeing a lot of new Mario games, namely Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 from Nintendo. However, it seems that Nintendo has no plans on stopping this Mario frenzy.

At a recent analyst meeting, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata explained that Nintendo is currently working on many new games for the 3DS including, Luigi’s Mansion 2, Paper Mario, and Mario Tennis.

Also, when he showed the above image, he said, “Although there is no logo here, we are planning to release a totally new 2D side-scrolling action Super Mario as a key title for the Nintendo 3DS in the next fiscal year.”

He didn’t explain any further leaving many fans hanging, wondering what this “totally new” Super Mario title is going to be like.

Who’s excited for all these new games for the Nintendo 3DS? Tell us below!
