Back in 2007, a YouTuber by the name of Coloniser created a fan sensation with his short animated film Zelda: Dark Sage. It reached nearly 1.5 million views, and now Coloniser has announced he is in the process of making a sequel.

While the animation for the first and second Zelda: Dark Sage installments aren’t on par with today’s standards, I think Coloniser did a good job in creating something that is decent looking and interesting to watch. Zelda: Dark Sage mainly concerns itself with plots drawn from “Ocarina of Time,” while the second film Zelda: Dark Sage: Encore, takes momentum from “Majora’s Mask.” (‘Encore’ has become my favorite)

The newest and final project, Zelda: Dark Sage: Finale, has an updated animation; even if it still isn’t the prettiest style (though I think it works the best for Dark Link), with influence from “Skyward Sword” it seems. Coloniser has only released a preview cast of characters so far, but it looks like it will be good.
