Ace Attorney 5 is confirmed for release in Japan, but what about the West?

The Capcom game Gyakuten Saiban, otherwise known as Ace Attorney in the west, will be coming out with it’s fifth installment in Japan.

Many people who enjoy this courtroom adventure type game are very excited about this, however, international fans of the game probably shouldn’t get too excited quite yet because it has yet to be confirmed whether this game will be released in the west or not.

This has nothing to do with the popularity of the game in the west or its success there, because the game has been quite successful. However, not all installments in the Ace Attorney series have been released outside of Japan. An example of that would be Ace Attorney Investigations 2.

Capcom also announced that the first three games in the Ace Attorney series will get high-definition re-releases on iOS and Android devices, but once again there is no news about the international plans quite yet. Hopefully the international fans of this series will get good news soon!
