Capcom has finally announced that the development for Ace Attorney 5 is in progress; the confirmation arrived during the series’ 10th anniversary event yesterday.

Unfortunately, besides the logo, no details on platform and release time frame were given. But don’t let that bring you down, because iOS and Android users have something else to look forward to: more Ace Attorney! Capcom announced Ace Attorney 123HD for the mobile platforms, combining parts 1 through 3 of the Ace Attorney series upgraded with higher resolution artwork.

The game will first be released on iOS shortly, soon followed by an Android version. You have two options for purchase: getting the first two chapters free, with additional chapter packs worth 600 yen, or by the full game for 1,200 yen. If you already have Ace Attorney on iOS, you’ll be able to upgrade your current scenarios to the HD version.

Check out the screencaps in the gallery below!

I’ve heard of Ace Attorney and watched a couple funny parodies online, but I never got to playing as I can’t really read Japanese. It seems like fun, though! Have you guys played Ace Attorney before?

The main photo doesn’t work but it looks quite interesting. Sounds like a very intense game!
