It’s expected that when an awesome game is released, there’s probably been a couple that didn’t make the cut. Square Enix has recently revived such a game: Sleeping Dogs, by United Front Games. It was also previously deemed as True Crime: Hong Kong before Activision stopped development. What exactly is it about?

Basically, you’re an undercover cop Wei Shen infiltrating the Triads in an open-world game set in Hong Kong. United Front Games, creator of PS3 Trackmania style racer Modnation Racers, is working together with Square Enix London (Arkham Asylum).

Of course there’s going to be a trailer, but this OTT live-action clip below is highly questionable.

Do you think you guys would play this game? Personally, I’m not a fan of extremely violent genres, so I’ll pass on this one. If you are interested, you’ll have to wait a while, as the release is set for the second half of this year.
