Sales and earnings for the calendar year of 2011 were very good for Activision Blizzard, as a significant rise was reported for both. Year over year, the publisher’s net profit more than doubled to an impressive $1.09 billion.

Revenues grew seven percent to a record $4.76 bullion. 34% of the total was accounted for by digital sales. In 2011, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was the top-selling title in Dollars, with Black Ops being the fifth best selling.

There are now also seven million users and 1.5 million subscribers on Call of Duty: Elite. Phew, what a year for them!

Not a surprise at all with all their accomplishments in 2011 especially with the paid service of CoD:MW3 Elite. I don’t way for it but it sure does have nice features. A nice way to end the year for Activision.
