Diablo 3, Gamer Diary Day 3: The Butcher

He’s back and he’s bigger and meaner than ever! Diablo 3 has re-introduced the Butcher, and he is the first big boss you will encounter. This guy brings back memories as a child when playing Diablo 1. I used to piss my pants whenever I would hear the phrase, “Ahh… fresh meat,” from him. This time around, Blizzard decided to give him new things to say and they’re actually quite funny. Take this line for example, “Vegetable bad, meat good!”

The boss battle is fairly challenging. Just watch out for the burning floors – you’ll get ample warning to know when to move to a different location. Also, he has a powerful charge attack which may 1 shot you – all you have to do is move aside. Aside from those things, keep him in your field of vision and pay attention closely to his moves and you’ll be golden!
