Warner Bros. Interactive is announcing a new downloadable multiplayer online battle arena game…Guardians of Middle-Earth!

On May 30th, Warner Bros. Interactive announced that they would be releasing the game developed by Monolith Productions. The game is said to be set up as a five-on-five battle with over 20 characters available. Some of those playable guardians are Gandaulf, Sauron, Gollum, and Thráin. Additionally, there will be a tie-in to the upcoming Peter Jackson film “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”.

The game will be available for download on the Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network in the fall. More details will be revealed at E3!
