It’s official! After a few days of speculation, Final Fantasy III is indeed making its way to the PSP.

As was previously reported, this version of Final Fantasy III finds itself a remake of the DS version of the game but also contains components that can be found from the iOS version. There will be 16×9 support, a BGM/illustrations gallery, original Famicom/NES music option, and a mode that allows you to speed up battles by twice the amount.

For those interested, you can get your version of the game on September 20th (currently only available in Japan) for ¥3,990 on UMD and ¥3,300 for download. Check out the trailer below.
