Microsoft have confirmed that they will not be attending either of the GamesCom or Tokyo Game Show this year. It had been thought beforehand that these were ideal opportunities for them to showcase more wares.
An official statement on Major Nelson’s blog read “As you saw at E3, we have a solid line-up of games launching this holiday, along with other entertainment experiences. We’ve changed our approach a little, though”.
Major first-party announcements were few and far between at Microsoft’s E3 conference.They included Halo 4 and SmartGlass.
