Nintendo has been known to repeat concepts on their handheld designs but it looks like we won’t be getting another 3DS but an entirely different handheld console. Shigeru Miyamoto is already “satisfied with the 3DS hardware as it is” so the company’s new goal will be for a “future generation of handheld”.

However, Miyamoto has expressed some alternatives and fixes for the current 3DS so don’t get your hopes up for a different handheld console yet. I hope he reveals a little bit more information about the concept of this new-gen handheld!
