Through their official website, a demo for Botanicula has just been released. It is included in a recent Humble Indie Bundle, as a botanical themed point and click exploration delivered by the studioAmanita Design.
At a cost of $10, gamers can get the titled in full edition from Amanita’s website. Samorost and Machinarium creator Jara Plachy assisted with the design of the game, which was beforehand only going to arrive on download.
But the news demo will see players being able to game via browsers. “Little tree creatures who set out for a journey to save the last seed from their home tree which is infested by evil parasites” is apparently what the game is based upon.
