Dedicated servers to be used in Black Ops 2

It has been confirmed by Treyarch that the upcoming, highly anticipated new title in the Call of Duty series, Black Ops 2, is to provide support for ranked, dedicated servers. Cesar Stastny, Treyarch’s director of technology, confirmed this.

He revealed on Twitter “Confirmed: Ranked Dedicated Servers for #BlackOps2″. Dedicated servers were involved in Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3 gas unranked servers, meaning you couldn’t level up when using them.

On Novermber 13th, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are all set to get the game. Wii U is also expected to get it this year.
