Far Cry 3 was originally set for release in September, but its North American release has now been pushed back to December.

According to Ubisoft producer, Dan Hay, “We’re taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience. Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players.”

The game will release in Europe on November 29th and in the U.S. on December 4th on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
