You will be excited if you are a fan of Final Fantasy XIII-2, because hints are falling that there is going to be a direct sequel, following the the events of Lightning and his crew.

Director Motomu Toriyama spoke with Famitsu about additional content, saying:

The [FFXIII-2] Lightning download content had an ending that left a feeling mystery and hope. The day when the meaning of this will come to light is not too far off.

This sure sounds like he is alluding to a Final Fantasy XIII-3 announcement. But there can’t always be clear clouds in the sky, the HD remake of Final Fantasy X seems to be further from completion then what was hoped for, about this game remake Motomu Toriyama said:

”Regarding HD conversions, there is a lot to look into, so please wait a bit more.”
