A major announcement concerning the world of gaming has just been made - that the Gamescom conference will be delivered again by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe on Tuesday, August 14th, just around the corner.

It is scheduled for a 7.00pm kickstart at 7.00pm in Staatenhaus am Rheinpark, Cologne. Past events of Gamescom have included significant announcement, such as revealing of the PS3 hardware slim and a budget PSP.

Furthremore, 300 new products are apparently being anticipated according to Koelnmesse, organisers of Gamescom.
