Although it is not for sale, Nintendo’s 3DS XL in a transparent colour would be quite a nice device to have would it not?

Well, Nintendo first teased us by releasing this image in their “Q&A” section on its site to discuss how hard it is to paint the new plastic resin that they use to build these devices and show where it hid the FPC (flexible printed circuit).

As seen in the above picture, you get to really see the engineering behind the whole device and possibly (with kids) dream of becoming engineers to design the devices like this in the future!

With Nintendo releasing clear electronics in the past, as with Play It Loud Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance, I’d like to see one for the DS/DSi and the 3DS!
