It was revealed earlier that the console would only be capable of supporting just one new pad controller, but it seems like the creators have changed their minds and will be allowing the Wii U to support not one, but two of the touch-screen tablet controllers.

This ability wont be available during the first launch, but Nintendo announced that it will be later updating the console data to play home to an extra tablet controller.
