Over 1.4 million units of the game Soul Calibur V have now been sold, according to their publishers - Namco Bandai. Soul Calibur IV, as its predecessor was at the success of selling 2.3 million copies within nine months of availability.

Most of that figure was actually within the first week of retail. And Soul Calibur V took just five months to sell 1.38 million, also predominantly selling within the first week. So it it quite disproportianate in terms of consistency.

This news was announced in unision with Namco Bandai’s quarter 1 financial standings. $41.15 million dollars between April and June. So, what do you think about these impressive results? Share your thoughts below.
