We are certainly not going to see Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate before Christmas arrives, much to the surprise of many. That’s because Konami has announced the unsurprising delay, with suttle information other than a 2013 release.

Although nothing has been enclosed in terms of the wider picture of the delay, it is suspected that it will be due to desire for more polishing and fine tweaking before it eventually does release. Then it will hopefully be clean.

So whatever happens, it should mean that it will be well worth the wait. Expect more information on the matter soon.
