Sony’s ‘Cross-Buy’ promotion is planned for North America and Europe, but not yet for Japan

Sony recently announced the cross-buy promotion: If you purchase one version of a game, you get the other for free! The first game included in this promotion is Playstation’s All Star-Battle Royale. However, Shuhei Yoshida, SCE president of Worldwide Studios, clarifies included countries on Twitter.
It was mistaken in an interview with Yoshida in Famitsu that the promotion was exclusive to Europe. Yoshida clarifies on twitter, “PS Vita-PS3 Cross Buy price promo is coming to both Europe and North America. My quote by Famitsu was meant as ‘not decided for Japan yet.”
Gamers in North America and Europe, rejoice! Gamers in Japan, be patient and the promotion may come to you!
