Once upon a time, in a fantasy land far far away lived those who made their livings on top of huge trees and would visit neighbors with an airship, helping them out. These inhabitants grew crops, planted trees, and raised animals to create a little farm. The trees would bear fruit and sometimes even magic seeds which could be used and grow trees that would last forever. This is Magic Tree, where dreams are made.
In Magic Tree, you are given your own plot of land where you cultivate it according to your wishes and dreams. Build a clothes shop, accessories store, even a little barn so you may raise animals. Cut down trees and break down rocks so you have more room on your land to grow plants and trees. Regular fruit trees, such as apple, banana, plum, grapefruit, orange, mango, and more, can bear magic seeds, which are what you want. Why? Because the game is known as Magic Tree, and thus, magic seeds are your objective. You’re given a set of recipes for magic trees in which three different magic seeds can be used to create. But! Most magic trees, you aren’t given the recipe for, so you must try out different magic seeds to see if you can create a tree.
In said mixing/recipe/illustrated book, you can find your seeds, as well as the recipes and what magic trees there are. Each seed has its own class, and there are four classes: S, A, B, C - S is the rarest class of seed you can get. And it depends on which class of seed you’ll receive. For example, I mixed three C class seeds together (not results in a red or yellow tree) and received an A seed - I also mixed two C seeds and one B seed to get an A seed. I mixed two A seeds with one B seed to receive a tree and it will tell you before you mix the seeds if you’ll receive a magic seed or a magic tree. Pretty nifty.
For all the cute and magic trees to be found, in addition to helping out your friends and receiving basic C seeds in return at times, the game did get on my nerves a bit. Ok, more than a bit. First of all, the game takes a while to load (and it needs connection and it requires to have a Com2uS ID, which isn’t that much of a hassle). Second of all, it takes forever and a day to level up. At least give me more EXP so it doesn’t take so long to level up and give me more cash so I can buy stuff and make it not as expensive. Third of all, why are all the cool items required to be bought with stars? Give me more stars! But here’s what I really, really disliked. The game crashed on me so many times. I got so frustrated. I’d be in my own land, tending to my crops, then bam! Game crashes. I’d be trying to visit friends, then bam! Game crashes. Heck, I’d lose connection at times, then I’m taken to the main page. What gives, Magic Tree?! Or in this case, Com2uS, since they’re the ones in charge of creating the game. I get that simulation games have a tendency to crash and freeze but this is insane when it randomly crashes.
Game, I’m so desperately wanting to give you a high score. You are so much fun to play. You are so cute to look at. Your graphics are nice and interactive. You have magic trees that players can receive and try to figure the recipe for (though I think the magic tree recipes are random). But do something about you crashing. I hate it. I hate it. I don’t like my game crashing. You know how frustrating that is? Like totally frustrating beyond belief.
But you are fun, I’ll give you that. But if you crash too many times, I don’t want to play you anymore. Got it?
