The Final Fantasy XIII story isn’t over just yet, but it will come to an end in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

Square Enix announced on August 31st at their Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Event that they will be releasing the conclusion to Lightning’s story in 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

The game will be set hundreds of years after FFXIII-2 in Novus Partus, which is made up of four island connected by a monorail and you’ll be fighting against a doomsday countdown of 13-days. Yup…there will apparently be an actual countdown clock in the corner of your screen. Additionally, Lightning may be the only playable character, but gamers will have the ability to customize her look and combat style throughout the game.

The game seems awesome and I can’t wait for its release.. But… It’s the ending of FInal Fantasy? :c

Just the ending of FFXIII… Not Final Fantasy the series


So many ff games XD finally coming to an end....


:( no pc vers again… i love the series but sadly i didn’t play it too much bcs i love pc games more ^^
played it only a little at a friends house… anyway it seems it is ending the long series
