Difficulty can sometimes be a frustrating thing, not only as it hinder chances of success but can also look gamers to a break-even point on when to play it. That is why Dark Souls Director Hidetaka Miyazaki looks to address this.

He claims that an easier difficulty is being contemplated upon for the experience of everyone, saying he wants his games to be “satisfying rather than difficult”. But there could be a flaw in this given that many do have the aptitude to complete it.

Anyhow, Miyazaki continued that he wanted gamers to ensure “what they want is interesting and worthwhile games to play”.
