An October release date that seems very suttle in terms of legitimacy and thought has been revealed by Randy Pitchford at the head of Gearbox, for the new and upcoming character downloadable content, Mechromancer, for Borderlands 2.

Pre-orderer’s of the game are to receive access to it at no cost, followed by a price of $10 or 800 Microsoft Points for everyone else according to Eurogamer. And this is set to be one of severeal add-on assets to be in store soon.

They are all said to be arriving between the release of Borderlands 2 on September 18th, up until June of next year. And they have been described as yielding “several hours of gameplay and introduce new adventures, allies, enemies and environments”.
