PlayStation Plus members now have the option of increasing their cloud storage capacity from 150MB to GB, which will be great news for mass storers of content. It comes with version 4.25 of the PlayStation 3 firmware.
Sony said “After you’ve installed the update, simply go to the Saved Data Utility under the Game column of the XMB. From there you can access the Online Storage folder and find any existing game saves already uploaded, as well as the increase in space to 1GB”.
This news coincide’s with Sony’s offering of a year-long subscription to PlayStation Plus for a discount of 25 percent, available until September 19th. It will see users getting it at $37.49 rather than $49.99, which is not bad.
