Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is in line for a “major expansion”, which is likely to bring some great new features along the way. It will be released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation next year, having been announced at this year’s TGS conference.
Speedrun and Hard modes are also set to land on the original game prior to the closing of this year. Hideaki Itsuno first uttered the imitation of the game when he claimed “he’d love to make Dragon’s Dogma 2″ and has “plenty in mind for a potential sequel.”
It is looking increasingly likely that Dragon’s Dogma will become a series. This would have been helped majorly by the early success of sales in Japan. And it was bolstered by great financial returns from Capcom, having a 290% increase in quarter one.
