Wii U will Be Region Locked

Were you hoping to play some Japanese Wii U games on your North American Wii U? …sadly that won’t be happening as the Wii U will be region locked.

CVG has confirmed that Nintendo will be region locking its upcoming console. So…if you really want to play the games released in Japan, you’ll have to buy a Japanese Wii U.

The Wii U will be hitting North American shelves on November 18th.

WHHHHYYY. Not that I’m getting it but I feel like that is a loss of money right there. Japanese games are fun and entertaining; especially the RPGs.
