Time to put on your thinking cap and go outwit players in the fun puzzle game known as Outwitters. Just outwit your opponent and you’ve got the game in the bag!
Or so you think. Outwitters is a multi-player game where you do battle against players in a ‘live’ setting. What does that mean? Simple enough, really: you move however many times you’re allowed to move in the game before the turn passes over to your opponent. You can liken the game type as a Scramble with Friends or Words with Friends. You know, where you have to wait a couple of minutes ,hours, or even days for your opponent to move.
Your objective is to destroy the enemy base and emerge victorious amongst your friends or strangers. It seems easy, but the time that you have to wait? I got a bit bored too fast. This is coming from someone who played Words with Friends and Scramble with Friends with friends and had to bug her friends to move faster.
I just didn’t find the game to be very interactive or exciting. It was more of, hey, I get to create warriors, move them around, and hope that I don’t land next to an enemy soldier that is lurking in the shadows because he’s hidden from the light. That part is somewhat fun and more of, oh wait a moment, I didn’t know you were there! How did you get there?
I must admit that the graphics are cute and they seem quite HD, except the game did crash a few times on me and I didn’t particularly like that. Then again, who does like a game that crashes? I don’t think anyone does.
Perhaps if I knew someone who played this game, I wouldn’t be as bored, but no luck. Maybe one of these days, Outwitters. Maybe you’ll find this game to be much more exciting than I did and I hope you do since it’s free so there is no harm in trying!
