343 Industries claims that Halo is holding its own against COD

In the light of upcoming new releases for games in both the series of Halo and Call of Duty, 343 Industries has been quick to state that they aren’t too fussed about competing directly with their counterparts.
It has fueled much speculation in the past. Frank O’Connor, development director of Halo, said “We haven’t tried to chase that tail. Those games are good for specific reasons and maintains its own gameplay identity.
He added “I think the closest we’ve come to that conversation about Call of Duty, is that we wanted to have an amazing player progression experience that just wasn’t aesthetics”. So its all well and good between the old rivalry.
