There’s a new simulation game out that requires you to build your own kingdom (and name it anything you want, ha) from scratch. That game is known as Puzzle Craft.
In Puzzle Craft, you have to find a place for your kingdom to grow and flourish so that it can be a force. Or more of a settlement, as the game describes. You’re out helping villagers develop this settlement so that it becomes an awesome kingdom where people will want to visit.
The game entails aspects of farming, mining, collecting taxes (money!), hiring workers, and expanding your settlement. But the farming and mining is actually a bit different from normal simulation games. You see, this simulation game works together with puzzle games, meaning that for farming and mining, you must figure out puzzles. The puzzles are simple - they’re somewhat like Bejeweled where you have to line up at least 3 of the same object. But! You can connect as many of the same items together as long as they connect directly top or bottom or diagonally.
The stuff that you get from farming and mining, you will get to craft tools and create more ingredients so that you get better supplies and equip your workers with better tools and better energy. And with better stuff, then you can build better buildings that have special purposes.
Puzzle Craft is engaging and exciting. It’s a new type of simulation game that I found to be very enjoyable and it’s a different type of simulation. Granted, the graphics aren’t all too high-end, but it’s simple enough for like a medieval type of environment and if you like those times, then you’ll certainly enjoy this.
