Dean Hall, at the head of DayZ, has said that his Arma 2 mod is to be released before the year closes, citing that “it’s going to be cheap.” He was uttering the claims at the EuroGame Expo Hall, drawing the attention of many.
Due to the fact that Bohemia Interactive are not really prioritizing external profits, the game will also be price at a cheap level. He said, “It has to be out before the end of the year. Not just because we’ve commited to it but in order to achieve what we must do.”
He continued, “We’ve decided that we don’t need to sell a heap of units in order for us to be OK with where it’s going. The more units we sell of it the more ambitious we get, because the project has the better resources.”
If there is enough popularity eithin the PC release, a launch onto consoles cannot be ruled out either. Share your thoughts below.
