Over 4 million sales surpassed for Minecraft XBLA

4J Studios, developers of the Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, claim that over four million sales of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition have been made. Tweeting “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has passed 4 million sales! Incredible number, thanks to you all!”
This is just another milestone within its early successes. It became the most sold title in its first 24 hours of availability for the platform, and also sold over a million within a week. That is quite an astonishing feat by any stretch.
Minecraft of PC also reached seven million sales back in August. So, things are really looking up for the game.
